July was hot and moist on the mountain. We were blessed with the most amazing rose shaped mushrooms on our property. Hello Miss July.

Magena is sizzling after a long hike on the Appalachian Trail in Catawba, Virginia. My Miss June has the most captivating eyes I have ever seen. Yes, I can see eternity in them. Her spirit comes through and I'm totally magnetized.

Seasons on the Mountain

Seasons on the mountain are each unique.  Even within one season there can be many changes on this knob we call home. The daily drive is often the most spectacular part of the day.  Some winter days can be deceptively beautiful. The scenery is spectacular but full attention and respect for the roads must be given.  The birds and animals love Holdingz Hollow as much as we do.  Our love for the critters brings them back  each season.
